There’s a lot of “do-it-yourself” website options out there which are good as a starting point for your visual presence. But when you are ready to have a professional look, you need a graphic designer with an artist’s eye to polish your product. That’s where I come in.

As your site's Art Director, I make sure that your site is organized well, functional and visually stunning. I also ensure that the branding matches the personality of the business.

Did you know that most people stick around a website less than 15 seconds? That’s how much time we have to get people “hooked” on your site. And that’s about visual branding. I make sites that are visually alluring, so that when visitors first find your site they want to stay.

I’ve seen many expensive websites that include all the essential information about a business that are simply not designed well. They’re often too wordy without enough images. Or the imagery doesn’t match or transmit the personality of what the business is offering. Or maybe the site looks homemade or unprofessional. Any of these shortcomings risk losing the attention of potential viewers who simply won't be impressed enough to linger on your site.

When you hire me, I bring design skills to the foundation of your site. I may employ web developers as needed to add any extra levels of functionality you might desire. I ensure you have both a beautiful and a functional site that will capture the attention of the potential virtual customers you want to attract.

My preferred method for building websites is through the Wix platform. I've found it to be easy to use, with powerful design and responsiveness features that can make a website look beautiful and professional. I'm also open to working on Squarespace sites, if that is the client's preference, but it's not my top choice these days. Both of these site builder platforms are also easy for my clients to use. At the end of the website build process, I supply my clients with a custom-made video teaching them how to edit their own site themselves.
